ACE ERA Passes OEM “Grade A Supplier” Certification in High-grade, Precision and Advanced Sector

Shenzhen, China - Recently, ACE ERA Limited (hereinafter referred to as the Company or ACE ERA), the industry leading independent distributor of electronic components, was rated Grade A supplier, scoring 95 in the 2023Q1 supplier quality rating by an OEM client that takes root in high-grade, precision and advanced manufacturing sector of technical grade and above. Particularly, ACE ERA scored 100 in the rating on product quality, the most interested factor for the client.

“This client takes product quality as the priority among priorities,” Denny, sales manager of ACE ERA, said: “since the client itself takes root in high-grade, precision and advanced manufacturing sector and is a competitive OEM, it has extremely high requirements about product quality.”


As a common knowledge, electronic components are indispensable and major part of the high-grade, precision and advanced manufacturing sector, and function as one of the important technical foundations for improvement of product performance and reliability. Practices in the high-end manufacturing industry show that performance, quality and reliability of electronic components is one of the key factors leading to the product success.


At the inception phase of establishment of mutual trust in September last year, the client demanded of ACE ERA to submit a series of documents to facilitate its all-around understanding. Among these documents, quality management file is one of the most important documents the client stressed, which in part exemplifies the client attaches much importance to product quality.


ACE ERA always regards quality as its lifeblood, and keeps enlarging investment in hardware and software of quality laboratory. Not only has it set up 3 test laboratories in Hong Kong and Shenzhen covering visual inspection, X-Ray inspection, DECAP, and XRF inspection, but also is equipped with senior QC engineers and advanced testing devices. It is worth pointing out that AS9120B certification evolves from ISO 9001, and replenishes special requirements about suppliers and distributors in the aerospace and national defense fields, for example, it adds some special industry requirements based on all requirements of ISO 9001:2015 quality certification, including supply chain management, product traceability, risk management, and quality control, etc.


In a manner of speaking, the ISO 9001:2015 & AS9120B dual-quality system certifications further prove high competitiveness of ACE ERA, and provide a strong guarantee for the long-term cooperation between this OEM client and ACE ERA.


It is learned that when the client placed the order for the first time, the client worried mostly about the supply of goods as the Company would spend one week in getting through the ordering procedure. “For other clients, the Company only spends one to two days in completing the ordering procedure,” Denny added. Short supply of goods and long ordering & confirmation process indeed brought tremendous challenge to the distributor’s supplier network management capacity.


While reviewing the first sales success case, Denny stressed two points: first, ACE ERA has strong control over the supplier network. So far, ACE ERA has built a global network covering 10,000+ certified suppliers, and strengthened the long-term and tight coupling among suppliers in the network; second, to further convince the client, Denny provided the client with real-time inventory updating information everyday.
